2.2 Methods of data collection
To obtain the above data, Adot uses several means:
Adot collects data during the purchase of advertising space in real time using its proprietary platform dedicated to the purchase of advertising space on advertising marketplaces. Adot buys this advertising space by bidding on available space on websites, mobile websites or mobile applications after receiving an advertising request indicating that the relevant space is available and being auctioned. Upon receipt of the advertising requests, Adot collects the information contained in the said request, which contains a certain amount of information relating to the available advertising space, the medium on which this space is available, as well as information concerning you and your terminal;
Adot collects data by means of tracers (cookies, tags, pixels) placed on the websites and mobile sites of its advertising clients or partners or by means of Adot's SDK or third party SDKs (Software Development Kits) placed on the applications of Adot's clients or partners ;
Adot collects data from its partners such as vente-privee.com if you are a member and have given your consent to share your data with the partners.
3 - For what purposes is your personal data collected and used? ?
Adot collects your personal data in order to display personalised advertisements adapted to your interests on the websites and mobile websites that you visit or within the mobile applications that you use. In order to offer you the most suitable advertisements, we carry out profiling processes aimed at establishing profiles that enable us to get to know you and your interests better in order to offer you relevant advertising content.
Your geolocation data is used to display advertisements adapted to your location and, for example, to indicate the point of sale of the product or service presented in an advertisement closest to you. This data is also used to provide Adot's customers with aggregate statistical studies and to measure the performance of advertising campaigns drive-to-store advertising campaigns.
The data collected about you as well as the profiling processes also enable Adot to offer its advertising clients campaign reports as well as aggregate marketing studies enabling advertisers to better understand the profile of their clientele as well as the profile of people visiting their points of sale or their websites.
The data collected by Adot about you is also used to measure the physical and online performance of Adot's clients' advertising campaigns and media devices.
Finally, your data is used by Adot in order to ensure that your rights under article 7 below are respected.
4 - Legal basis for processing
In order to collect and process your personal data as mentioned above, Adot relies on your consent. In this respect, your personal data is only collected and processed for the purposes set out above when you give your consent to the processing of your personal data by a positive act.
As Adot is not in direct contact with the people concerned by the processing of their personal data, it is its partners, whether they are publishers, data suppliers or SSPs (acronym for Supply Side Platform which are the players responsible for marketing the advertising space available to website or application publishers on the real-time auction market known as RTB) who are responsible for collecting your consent. In order to do this, Adot obtains a contractual commitment from the latter to obtain your consent prior to the collection of your personal data and that they undertake to provide proof of this.
In addition, Adot is registered with the Transparency and Consent Framework of the IAB Europe as a vendor and is able to receive and read the IAB consent strings sent to it by its partners in order to respect your consent choices. Indeed, when you arrive on a website (web or mobile web) or a mobile application, you are asked to set up your choices regarding your consent for the deposit of cookies and other trackers. The consent gathering tool used can be a consent management platform registered within the Framework Framework. In this case, when you set up these choices, a chain of consent is generated and sent to all actors in the advertising chain so that you will only be shown personalised advertising if you have previously agreed to your data being processed for this purpose.
You may withdraw your consent at any time by returning to the consent tool where you originally set up your consent choices or by writing an email to policy@we-are-adot.com.
5- Who will receive your personal data? ?

5.3. Partners
We may also share your personal data with certain commercial partners, in particular companies commonly known as "trusted third parties". Some of our customers require that the effectiveness of the advertising campaigns displayed by Adot be verified by these third-party companies. The purpose of trusted third parties is to verify the effectiveness of advertising campaigns by measuring their impact on the traffic generated in our advertisers' points of sale. To do this, we may share your data with them for the sole purpose of measuring the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns.
We may also share your data with third party partners whose purpose is to verify that the audience reached by our advertising campaigns corresponds to the audience initially targeted. To do this, these third parties insert pixels into Adot's advertising campaigns that allow them to verify that the audience reached by the campaign corresponds to the targeted audience, at the request of our Clients.
Adot may also share your data with its clients (agencies or advertisers) who use Adot's advertising services, in particular for the purposes of retargeting, or with third party service providers to enable the purposes mentioned in article 3 hereof to be achieved.
